Disappointed with level of service. Busy workshop but only wanted a quote and not get it.
Tyre mechanic did his job well. Reception man screwed up all the requests. Even if your clear and the reception fella writes it down, check all the work before paying. Even the simplest requests. Trust they can lack communication from office to tradesmen. I only needed three new tires. The reception man wrote down which tires to keep and which one to rotate. Didn't rotate the 12000km since purchased newish tire and threw out the tire i wished to keep as spare and left the worst tire of the lot to be the spare. I am grateful they took the job. The workmanship was correct and responsible. I asked the reception man to get my other tire and swap it and he did. His response to the rotation he didn't have rotated was "its nearly new it doesn't even need rotating" that man lost all due respect as a tradesman in that sentence. If he were honest and either asked for money or just said no I'd have not written this but here it is. I find to write a constructive criticism that could devalue a good business must be outweighed by the urgency to protect ourselves from issue. Double check even the simplest requests.
Staff are always friendly and provide excellent customer service. When I collected my car Chris drove it right up to the door of the shop so I could unload my groceries. Very thoughtful and personalised service! And the tyres are great too!
