Impressed with Horizon Waratah today at caravan and camping show in Brissy...easy to step in height with Merc Sprinter van platform. Thanks to Paul Spotswood for informative explanation of Waratah and it's interior workings, a well constructed quality motorhome. Available in off road platform for off the track camping.
We're just about to hit 40,000km's in our Waratah motorhome, pretty much the equivalent of the earth's circumference, so an apt time to post a review of Horizon. 5 stars. We couldn't be happier with everything to do with our motorhome, including the pre and post delivery service from the team. We've taken our 4x4 Sprinter over some pretty wild and corrugated roads over the last 15 months, so it is a credit to Horizon just how well the motorhome has been put together given that we've had no issues to speak of. Highly recommend.
We bought our Banksia in 2015 and we use it regularly - 36 trips both big and small so far! Our biggest one was from the Sunshine Coast to Darwin, Broome and back to Uluru before home. It is perfect for us. Not too big but still comfortable. It has everything we need. We love being able to open up the back doors and enjoy the outdoors. We can camp anywhere we want and we have the freedom to easily stop along the way. The after sales service has been excellent - nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Horizon we have had another brand of motorhome before but we can honestly say the quality was never close to our home away from home.
