HORRENDOUS & UTTERLY DISHONEST. I bought a house through these people which already had tenants in that stayed on. I asked them to verify that the tenants registered were the ones actually living there as one was supposed to be female but the contents of the house on viewings appeared entirely male. I was given SO MANY LIES about the tenants! Claire the lettings person even told me she knew them personally and saw them around town often. When the house was returned to me shortly after buying it was UTTERLY TRASHED! Not even ONE of the tenants on the lease had lived in it for MONTHS according to the neighbours who knew the tenants that came & went well. All the official tenants had lived out of the State for months?! So unlikely Claire had seen them regularly as she claimed.The whole deposit was obviously used up very quickly to try to repair some of the extensive damage, however this agency would not ask for more funds to finish the repairs. I had to pay for items such as smashed doors and a smashed cooker myself. Any suggestion that they should return any of the 'management fees' to help with these expenses was treated with total animosity, particularly by the Manager 'Rob'. How can they have been competently managing it if they didn't know who was living there and it is returned trashed? The handyman had to take 3 trailers of rubbish left away. Competent Property Management? I certainly paid full price for property management without receiving the service. VILE PEOPLE, AVOID! If you want to use a professional agency in Ballina use McGrath.
