Dumpster fire stay away. Booked six rooms for staff retreat. Wanted staff to have their clearly tagged luggage in rooms upon their arrival upon finishing retreat. Left tagged luggage at front desk at 11.30 hrs. Too hard for supposedly professional hotel to deliver 6 bags to 5 rooms in ensuing 11 hours. When make a complaint to front desk accused of being rude. Amateur hour. Thanks, spent over 2k to be treated like an idiot. Management get in touch for full story
We came to Ramada Hotel & Suites for a quick lunch with family who are staying there. The range was good and everyone found something they wanted to try. They also offered to grill the fish rather than frying it, and I found that service impressive. I tried to squid-ink gnocchi and I was extremely delighted. It was something I've never had the pleasure of trying and I was happy to have tried it here. They were diligent in keeping our table water filled, and the staff were especially kind and helpful. We aren't from the area but if we had the chance to return we definitely will!
The Ramada is a breath of fresh air right on the river, in the middle of town. On even the hottest day a beautiful breeze from the river cools outdoor seating. Air con inside where tables are generously spaced apart so that intimate dining can occur. Equally large groups can be accommodated. A real highlight is the spacious lounge area for coffee.The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The food is delicious and staff attentive.
Great location. Dolphins out front most days while we were here! Staff were above and beyond helpful. And that was everyone. Rooms are nice, bright and clean (I check under beds etc). Rooms are big and well appointed. Only reason it wasnt 5star is the building is weird. Seriously weird. No stairs to the lobby. No toilet near the pool. Cant split beds for the kids. And Im sure youll discover more. I could go on. The architect was on funny mushrooms. Only minimally inconvenient so if that doesnt get you youll love it. Really enjoyed our stay and had a great laugh with the staff on the weirdness. Will come again.
