Superb authentic Thai food in Ballina. The green curry, woon sen (noodle salad- prawn) and thai fish cake are worth every penny. The co-owner of the restaurant personally check in on his customers and his servers offer awesome service!
Place is OK. Nicely presented and tasty food. More Thai takeaway than restaurant. Took a while before I was greeted by the waitress although the place was not busy. Another staff member simply ignored me. Customers were obviously not his thing.The fried pork rib was well fried and great flavour but would have benifited from a sauce of some sort. The sprinkle of dried granulated garlic I thought a little odd. The duck with chilli jam was spicy with a good blend of flavours.Could be recommended for a quick not overly expensive but tasty dinner.
We stopped in here one night as we passed through Ballina on a long drive. I was so impressed by the food here. I had the spring rolls, peanut stir fry and coconut rice and all of it was delicious. The peanut sauce had so much depth and flavour yet none of the meal was heavy. Was better than most Thai places you find in Sydney or other big cities!! Very cool!!!
