A friend showed me Meldrum Park and I went back today for a walk. Very pleased to see the ramp going down to river level. There was also a good kids playground and plenty of shade under the huge Norfolk pines for having picnics. I walked along the path beside the RSL village and enjoyed their gardens and read all the plaques with information on the many wars our soldiers have been involved in over the years. There were many families enjoying the park and fishing and swimming in the river. I thought again how lucky we are to be living in Ballina.
Nice park, right on the water. Would be great to see more seating available, and a shade cover over the playground.
Great park with shade trees next to the creek.
It's great. Good BBQ facility.
Couple of covered tables. Public toilets. Nice swings. Good for a family get together.
